With roughly 900 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and exhibition floor space amounting to 590,000 square feet, the Control international trade fair for quality assurance, taking place at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre from 14 to 17 May 2013, will once again be a benchmark for the industry sector.
With the 27th edition of Control, the leading international trade fair is continuing its tradition of showcasing innovations, and thus penetrating new markets. Forward-looking trends are pointed out through the presentation of topics such as quality assurance in medical engineering, measuring and test technology for lightweight engineering, as well as expanded use of image processing and vision systems. Automation also plays a key role in quality assurance, as well as the resultant representation of quality and its assurance as a value-creating process.
With roughly 900 exhibitors from more than 30 countries, Control 2013 is once more characterised by further growth. To an ever greater extent, new exhibitors come from the USA, Canada and Asia this year. An attractive presentations forum and supplementary programme compliment Control in an ideal fashion and increase its drawing power. The renowned Vision Academy will also be on board this year. Roughly 25,000 visitors from 88 countries came to the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre to attend last year’s event. The outstanding quality of the expert visitors has been one of the success factors for Control for many years.
