The Minden-based WAGO Group will not take part in the “SPS smart production solutions 2021” trade fair in Nuremberg this year. The current pandemic situation and the rapidly increasing incidence do not allow participation in such a major event.
“We decided to take this step because we are responsible for the safety of our employees and customers – and this is our top priority,” said Chief Marketing Officer Christian Sallach, explaining the rejection of the supplier of connection and automation technology.
“Of course we were looking forward to getting in personal contact with customers again and to present ourselves at this renowned trade fair for the automation industry. We therefore regret the short-term cancellation, but see no way of fully guaranteeing the health protection of our team, ”said Christian Sallach.
At the beginning of the new year, WAGO will offer customers and interested parties a digital alternative to present its automation highlights and to engage in direct exchange with experts.
