Despite the short-notice cancellations by some exhibitors at the SPS in Nuremberg (Siemens, Beckhoff, Phoenix Contact, Wago), the SPS 2021 will take place as a presence event. More than 700 exhibitors are represented on-site and will be offering visitors a wide range of products and services around smart and digital automation
. With the digital add-on, the “SPS on air”, the SPS remains the most important platform for the automation industry this year.
Due to the current infection situation, the hygiene concept was adapted for maximum safety of all participants. All participants are required to wear a mask in the indoor areas. In the outdoor areas of the exhibition grounds, the mask may be removed, provided that a distance of 1.5 m can be reliably maintained.
Exhibitors and visitors are advised to carry out a self-test before entering the exhibition grounds. With these extended measures, the SPS offers the greatest possible protection for all trade fair participants.
