The new AXC F XT SPLC 3000 safety controller from Phoenix Contact is operated as a left-hand expansion module on the PLCnext Controls AXC F 2152 or AXC F 3152. It complements the PLCnext portfolio with a powerful safety PLC for Profisafe participants in Profinet networks.
The safety controller can be used in applications up to safety category SIL3 according to IEC 61508/61511 and PLe according to EN ISO 13849-1.
When operating as an F-host, the SPLC 3000 can communicate with up to 300 F-devices and simultaneously function as an F-device. The safety control is fully integrated into the open PLCnext Technology ecosystem and, in combination with the Profisafe I/O extensions of the Axiobus that can be arranged on the right, offers a high degree of modularity. The powerful and redundant ARM-based safety-related CPUs have a clock speed of 800 MHz for channel 1 and 600 MHz for channel 2.
