The Stuttgart-based company is taking part in the trade fair in Friedrichshafen for the first time and has a lot in store for users: Single Pair Ethernet technology (SPE) is becoming increasingly important for LAPP as it replaces conventional fieldbuses and integrates into IP -based networks. At the aaa, LAPP will also be presenting SPE connectors and switch prototypes in addition to the well-known two-wire cables and patch cords. The comprehensive offering is rounded off by the introduction of the first Advanced Physical Layer cables (APL) from LAPP. They mark a significant advance in explosive process automation as they enable higher transmission rates over longer ranges.
