wenglor sensoric group was present at the VISION trade fair, the world’s leading trade fair for image processing, which took place in Stuttgart from 8 to 10 October 2024. At the trade fair stand shared with its subsidiary TPL Vision, wenglor presented high-quality machine vision products.

Its product portfolio offers all components of an image processing system required to individually solve vision applications. In addition to high-performance hardware, the uniVision image processing software impresses with its high ease of use, performance and individual expandability. All functions, including new ones such as Deep OCR, can be experienced in the central software corner. TPL will also be presenting exciting new developments in the field of lighting technology for industrial image processing.

With the MVC series machine vision controllers and the BBVK industrial cameras, the machine vision product portfolio has recently been expanded to offer high-performance hardware. In particular, the powerful integrated software uniVision 3 stands out as an ecosystem for the operation of all wenglor hardware. It is flexibly scalable and evaluates all 2D/3D images and profiles of the weCat3D series in a single system.

Thanks to numerous high-performance modules such as “HALCON Script” and the robotic and RTE interfaces, uniVision 3 can be used as a stand-alone software and can even be expanded. The integration of the latest deep learning technology also enables the reading of plain text, thereby ensuring an extremely high detection rate with minimal configuration effort. Thanks to the possibility of freely combining the different modules, wenglor software offers maximum flexibility for solving applications of all kinds.

With the latest versions, the lighting expert TPL Vision is presenting a new lighting technology for industrial image processing. The ELINE, a modular line scan illumination, as well as the new ring and spot illuminations together with accessories offer the right lighting option for any application. The wenglor sensoric group will also be presenting a robotic cell at the trade fair to provide interesting insights into the capabilities of the MLZL 2D/3D profile sensor.
