Powerful, compact and versatile, the HEPP electric gripper is suitable for a wide range of workpieces in applications without electrical systems or compressed air. It is optimized for the production of electronics and small parts, laboratory automation and building special machines.
With a total gripping force of up to 680 N and a stroke of up to 56 mm, the HEPP can be adapted to a wide range of workpieces, regardless of their size or material properties. Position, stroke, speed, acceleration or gripping force: users simply enter the parameters.
This and the dynamic electric motor allow designers to easily adapt Festo’s HEPP electric gripper to their individual requirements. Complex manufacturing processes in the electronics and small parts industry, laboratory automation and special machine construction can also optimally define their travel movements and workpiece handling. If the power supply is interrupted, the proven integrated holding brake ensures a reliable stop.
Integrated and simplified control
The integrated control makes the HEPP extremely compact. And communication via interfaces such as PROFINET®, Ethernet/IP® or EtherCat® facilitates commissioning, parameterization and monitoring in real time.
Users optimize their processes with the Festo automation system CPX-E via EtherCat® and receive a smart system solution with compatible products.
