Beckhoff’s range of high-performance EtherCAT multifunction terminals is complemented by the EL4172 and EL4174 output terminals. In contrast to the EL4072 and EL4074, the new 2- and 4-channel terminals operate at a sampling rate of 10 kSps with a constant 16-bit resolution.
The two analog output terminals EL417x output all known standard signals in the range ±10 V and ±20 mA. The EL307x inputs can handle these. All outputs can be parameterized individually and are single-ended, reducing the cabling effort.
The current outputs are robust and offer diagnostic functions to detect malfunctions such as overloads, wire breaks and short circuits. The EtherCAT terminals have an extended output range of ±107%, which can be used to pass non-typical setpoints. B. Transmit error conditions.
The new analog EtherCAT multifunction terminals of the EL3x7x and EL4x7x families offer reliable multifunction solutions for a wide range of applications, from simple to demanding. With their high performance, compact design and precise 16-bit resolution, they set new standards in the field of analog IP20 I/O.
