With the new MPXS series, COVAL offers one of the most compact intelligent vacuum pumps on the market, without compromising on the technology that characterizes the French brand. COVAL’s goal is to provide manufacturers with even more efficient tools for the fast processing of non-porous parts in robotic and automated systems.
The MPXS micro vacuum pump stays true to the design principles of COVAL intelligent vacuum pumps, including energy efficiency, high performance and communication I/O. It is also ultra-compact, condensing all the qualities of COVAL’s intelligent vacuum pumps into a smaller physical space.
Ultra-compact and lightweight for maximum efficiency With a width of just 12.5 mm and a weight of just 87 grams, the MPXS micro vacuum pump is the smallest vacuum pump ever developed by COVAL. This size allows installation as close as possible to the suction cup in limited spaces, thus reducing recording times without compromising the load and ensuring high speeds.
Suction power
Thanks to the single-stage Venturi technology, the MPXS series micro vacuum pumps quickly reach a maximum vacuum of 85%, making them ideal for dynamic applications requiring very short cycle times. Two performance levels, 15 Nl/min and 26 Nl/min, increase versatility and allow optimal adaptation to the requirements of each application.
Simple communication
The MPXS micro vacuum pumps provide the user with useful information at every stage of operation. The human machine interface (HMI) allows easy reading of operating, diagnostic and maintenance information and enables quick parameter setting. In addition, the integrated IO-Link communication interface supports fast, cost-effective installation, continuous diagnostics, centralized parameter setting and efficient communication with higher-level protocols (EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, EtherCAT…).
Significant energy savings
MPXS micro vacuum pumps feature ASC (Air Saving Control) technology, which intelligently controls vacuum generation and achieves an average of 90% energy savings by stopping air consumption once the required vacuum level is reached.
