At a time when markets are experiencing recession, the Italian industry needs to attempt new routes by seeking the key to growth and productivity in foreign markets. Hence, Messe Frankfurt has become an excellent tool for Italian companies that wish to lean on a safe and reliable platform to achieve the objective of internationalisation.

The experience of SPS IPC Drives Italia
A dedicated space will also be arranged for the presentation of SPS IPC Drives Italia, a landmark Italian event for the automation sector and the only trade fair organised in Italy by Messe Frankfurt Italia. Having sought an adequate niche to meet the demands of protagonists in this field, the organisation has artfully created a suitable project for the Italian market by transforming a German format into an all Italian event.
SPS IPC Drives Italia 2013 makes a great start up!
A long list of registrations and the confirmed participation of leading specialised companies make SPS IPC Drives Italia the next event for the automation world. The main protagonists of the sector will meet once again in Parma on 21 – 23 May 2013 to present the new releases and latest solutions offered by the Italian automation market.
Advisory Panel and Scientific Committee 2013
The winning partnership with the Advisory Panel and the Scientific Committee, with many confirmed members and the participation of new entries of excellence, is once again proposed for the 3rd edition of SPS Italia. ABB Italia will join the members of the Advisory Panel, while members of the Scientific Committee will include Lorenzo Rossi – Alenia (aerospace constructions), Alessandro Gasparetto, University of Udine, Department of Electrical, Management and
Mechanical Engineering, Claudio Locatelli – Italcementi (construction materials), Ivano Boido – Michelin (automotive) and Flavio Battistelli – Salvagnini Italia (sheet metal processing).
The location, exhibition pavilions and duration of the event will also be confirmed along with the format. The trade fair can once again count on the presence of special projects dedicated to various protagonists of the automation production line and on an extensive programme of scientific conferences that will provide the backdrop for a visit to the trade fair.
