Mutual complementing of topic areas for users of the manufacturing industry was the basis for the recent decision of Messe München International. The trade fairs AUTOMATICA and MAINTAIN and the guest event Intersolar Europe will take place parallel on the grounds of the New Munich Trade Fair Center in 2014. The new date for the trade fair for automation and mechatronics is from 3 to 6 June 2014, two weeks later than originally planned.
Dr. Reinhard Pfeiffer, Managing Director of Messe München explained: “We want to continue the successful models of 2008 and 2010 and have decided to hold Automatica parallel to Intersolar Europe, International Trade Fair for Solar Technology. The solar energy industry is betting increasingly on automated solutions in international competition. The combination of the two leading trade fairs in their segments is pioneering for production specialists. The range of exhibitors will be supplemented ideally by Maintain, Trade Fair for Industrial Maintenance. We are convinced that exhibitors and visitors will profit equally and enormously from the synergy potential of the three trade fairs taking place simultaneously.”
Visitors can visit all three trade fairs using their respective admission ticket. Innovations and trends from industrial maintenance, automation and mechatronics as well as the solar energy industry will be presented under the motto “One Stop – Three Shows”.
Service Robotics as New Exhibition Area
AUTOMATICA 2014 will present a separate exhibition area for the topic of service robotics for the first time. As a result, it is positioning itself as the leading trade fair for industrial robotics and professional service robotics under one roof.
Approx. 3,000 exhibitors and about 100,000 visitors from more than 100 countries are expected on the grounds of the New Munich Trade Fair Center.
