During the Sindex fair that takes place from September 5 to 7 in the Swiss city of Bern, Baumer will present its latest innovations in sensors, new intelligent solutions for each segment in process and factory automation.
Sensing, Identification and Positioning: Once again, Baumer has included new easy-to-use solutions in its unrivaled broad portfolio for factory automation. Just one example: reading codes. The new IDC200 multicode reader makes it easier than ever. The compact device is ready to use in just a few seconds: establish the connection via the USB-C cable, enter the IP address in the web interface and press Automatic configuration. Code reading is that easy! The new O330 series adds a particularly economical and powerful solution in a compact design to Baumer’s portfolio of photoelectric proximity switches. Baumer Toolbox of Sensor Solutions for mounting technology is expanded with new space-saving ultrasonic and inductive sensors.
Fluid process monitoring: The innovative PAD20 “Bubble Sensor” enables many resource-saving applications. It will detect even the smallest air and gas bubbles in fluids and will signal as soon as set limits for gas pockets are exceeded. In this way, the sensor prevents energy waste in heating and cooling systems and protects pumps from running dry. For continuous floatless level measurement, the CombiLevel PLP70 sensor is the new smart solution. The potentiometric sensor automatically adapts to many media, including process water.
Measurement, test and inspection: Baumer offers a wide range of sensors and cameras also for quality inspection. Among the highlights of the exhibition in Bern are the precision laser distance sensors OM20 and OM30 and the unique series of OX profile sensors. These product innovations achieve a measurement accuracy of 1 micrometer.
Velocity and Angle Position Feedback: A highlight of Baumer’s broad portfolio of encoders is the next generation of bearingless encoders, the EB200E. Thanks to their extremely compact design, high resolution, IO-Link connectivity and many other smart features, these encoders allow easy parameterization for individual applications (velocity and angle position control and feedback, etc.). Baumer’s answer to harsh environments is the new EB360 non-contact encoder with an extremely durable design.
