With the AF1000, Beckhoff also offers a frequency inverter, thus offering a cost-effective solution for simple drive applications such as conveyor systems, pumps or fans. The frequency inverter is fully integrated into the TwinCAT system via EtherCAT and offers the usual commissioning and diagnostic convenience of servo drive technology.
The AF1000 frequency inverter is available in two different versions: for a single-phase supply with 1 x 230 V AC in the power range from 0.37 kW to 1.5 kW and for a three-phase supply with 3 x 400 V AC in the power range from 0.37 kW to 1.5 kW. kW to 2.2 kW. Despite its compact dimensions, the AF1000 integrates the control power supply, intermediate circuit capacitors and stabilization circuits.
The control voltage is generated by an integrated power supply from the intermediate circuit. Both frequency inverter variants are available both as single-axis modules and as extremely cost-effective two-axis modules. Synchronous servo motors are supported as well as feedback-free asynchronous and reluctance motors operating in UF mode or vector control.
The AF1000 frequency inverter is perfectly integrated into the TwinCAT system via EtherCAT. Like the Beckhoff servo drives, the AF1000 operates via TwinCAT Drive Manager 2, so users do not have to get used to any new additional tools.
