At the new sites in Ulm and Würzburg, the Bosch Rexroth Academy will offer practical face-to-face training for all drive and control technologies. The currenttraining program will include new learning units for connected hydraulics, software programming for the ctrlX AUTOMATION platform as well as courses focusing on linear motion technology and the electrification of mobile machines.
In the attractive training rooms, participants can look forward to an innovative learning environment for effective training. XITE Systems, Bosch Rexroth’s latest mobile training systems, along with industrial mass produced components will be used at both sites. They will ensure a global uniform standard for practical further training at Bosch Rexroth and other certified training providers. The training units will be available not only as face-to-face courses at the training centers but also online or as e-learning. In 2022, the Bosch Rexroth Academy once again expanded the XITE training program and offers approximately 160 practical training sessions per year at its 20 locations in German-speaking countries.
During the Connected Hydraulics training course, trainers provide basic knowledge for maintaining, repairing and (re)commissioning hydraulic compact axes. “With this knowledge, participants can very quickly diagnose faults within their companies and thus significantly reduce downtimes,” said Mark Endress, head of the Bosch Rexroth Academy.
During another new training course, participants are familiarized with software programming for the ctrlX AUTOMATION platform. Users can thus model and combine movement processes and other functions in the form of apps – with no need for a knowledge of PLCs. “Our training services which prepare employees for Industry 4.0 are of particular interest to small and medium-sized companies as they can then drive connectivity within their companies themselves,” said Mark Endress.
As part of its training program, the Bosch Rexroth Academy also offers new e-learning units for designing and dimensioning linear motion technology components and systems and for electrifying the drivetrain of mobile machines.
The growing network of Certified Excellence Partners for technical further training offers selected Bosch Rexroth Academy training courses with identical content and learning goals and thus supports the international focus of the Bosch Rexroth Academy.
In addition to the training rooms, the new facilities in Würzburg and Ulm offer co-working spaces for joint projects between Bosch Rexroth and scientific institutions as well as customer and partner companies.
