The industrial automation specialist Kinco Automation (China) provides human-machine interface (HMI), programmable logic controller (PLC), servo drive and variable frequency drive (VFD) solutions with CANopen connectivity.

THE OFFERED HMI-SIZES RANGE from 5,6-inch (MT5320C) to 16,4-inch (MT5520T). Beside CANopen, EIA-232, EIA-485, USB and Ethernet interfaces are available. The IP65-protected (on the front) TFT displays feature 32-bit RISC processors (520 MHz to 800 MHz). The on-board memory varies from 8 MiB Flash and 16 MiB SDRAM to 128 MiB Flash and 64 MiB SDRAM. The most HMI variants provide 16 MiB Flash and 32 MiB SDRAM with extension capability. The devices require a 24-VDC rated input voltage consuming 4 W to 16,8 W of rated power. Most part of the HMIs is fan-less and may operate at temperatures from 0 °C to +45 °C. Extended temperature range (-10 °C to +70 °C) is possible for MT5320C, MT5323T and MT6300T.

The MT5620T and MT5720T provide two PAL signal video input interfaces. Some variants (MT6300T, MT6400T, MT6500T) support Windows CE 5.0 operating system and are programmable with Codesys v. 2.3.

The F122-D1608T PLC using Codesys software by 3S connects remote I/O modules, servo controller, inverter etc. via the CANopen network. It features a 520-MHz 32-bit RISC CPU, 64-MiB RAM, 32-MiB Flash, 16 digital inputs and eight digital outputs, Ethernet port, EIA-232 and EIA-485 ports as well as an SD card slot. The CANopen interface supports the CiA 301 communication protocol specification and the CiA 401 device profile for I/O modules. It is possible to fulfill PDO (process data object) communication in an asynchronous, synchronous or remote-requested manner. All bit-rates specified for CANopen (10 kbit/s to 1 Mbit/s) are supported. The controller may work at temperatures from -10 °C to +55 °C.

Company’s JD430 servo drive communicates with the host controller via CANopen. EIA-232 and EIA-485 are provided as well. The available STO (safe torque off) function ensures safe running. Main supply voltage is 220 VAC at 50 HZ/60 Hz and the rated current amounts 10 A. The fan-cooled drive dimensioning 220 mm x 195 mm x 66 mm works at 0 °C to +40 °C and is IP20-protected. Digital operation panel with four buttons and four LED displays, 8/7 digital I/Os and two analog inputs are available. The analog inputs (-10 V to 10 V) may be used to control speed and torque. Optional output encoder and master encoder signals may be used in the multiple axes synchronization application. The JD620 servo drive for main supply voltage of 380 VAC at 50 HZ/60 Hz with 7-A rated current provides the same further features as the JD430.

Manufacturer’s FV100 series frequency drives are dedicated for 3-phase 380-VAC to 440-VAC voltages (50 Hz/ 60Hz) and output frequency of 0 Hz to 300 Hz. Control methods include vector control with PG, vector control without PG and V/F control. Further control features are instant stop but no stop, rapid tracking, over/under torque detecting, torque limit, multiple speed operation, switch among multiple acceleration/deceleration time, self-adjusting, S curve acceleration/deceleration, slip difference compensation, fan operation control, crawl function, jump frequency operation, PID adjustment (sleep function), drop control, torque control, switch between torque control and speed control, restart automatically, and energy saving operation.

Different protection functions e.g. over-current, over/under-voltage, over-heat, stall protection, short-circuit protection etc. are available as well. The IP20-rated device operating at 0 °C to +40 °C offers 2/3 analog I/Os and 7/2 digital I/Os.
