The CC-Link Partner Association (CLPA) will participate online in the SPS – smart production solutions event via the ‘SPS on air’ digital platform to emphasise the role of Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) in digital transformation. From 15th November until 3rd December 2021, the organisation will showcase how its latest technology, CC-Link IE TSN, can deliver unmatched visibility and convergence for futureproof, data-driven applications. This is achieved by combining open gigabit Ethernet and TSN.

‘SPS on air’ will provide a leading digital platform for industrial automation experts from all over the world to discuss the latest trends and technologies shaping the sector. Key areas will include digital transformation, Industry 4.0, industrial communications and data-driven intelligent concepts for control and visualisation. As an industry leader in open automation network technologies, the CLPA will contribute to the forum by discussing the opportunities offered by TSN to support future-oriented, smart operations.

In particular, the organisation will highlight how industrial communications solutions that leverage this innovative technology, such as CC-Link IE TSN, can provide the level of transparency and convergence needed to create smart, data-driven manufacturing facilities and entire enterprises. Attendees interested in learning more about this network technology, its key features and role within digital transformation strategies, will have the chance to do so via the CLPA’s virtual profile.

Visitors to the CLPA’s page at ‘SPS on air’ will be able to watch videos, and other key documentation will be available. They will also have the opportunity to download a free copy of the latest white paper “Getting your TSN product to market”. This provides a practical insight on how to implement TSN and the importance of conformance testing for automation products leveraging this technology.

Finally, the organisation’s experts will be available throughout the event to discuss the benefits of CLPA’s technologies for manufacturers as well as providing additional information. John Browett, General Manager at CLPA Europe, comments: “SPS is a key event for the CLPA and being able to attend via the ‘SPS on air’ platform will provide a truly global reach during the duration of the trade show. We look forward to meeting with attendees and sharing with them how our network technologies can support the creation of the Connected Industries of the future.

“In particular, our latest solution, CC-Link IE TSN, provides the necessary converged network architecture for companies looking to take their operations to the next level via advanced Industry 4.0 applications. We invite anyone interested in futureproofing their automation devices, machines or factory floors to get in touch with our experts during the event.”
