Linear tables in high-speed assembly systems must move quickly and precisely. Smart inductive sensors from Contrinex create the optimal conditions for these applications: They enable dynamic linear distance measurements with resolutions in the micrometer range.

Whether it’s a quick approach to critical positions or the slow, high-precision approach to end positions: the intelligent inductive sensors from Contrinex fulfill both tasks extremely cost-effectively. The position control system consists of compact sensors that fit unobtrusively and easily into any standard linear guide rail. The sensors not only offer high-resolution distance measurement and event-based alarm messages, but also several individually configurable two-channel outputs. Multi-channel monitoring circuits also allow users to define custom output thresholds.

Another practical feature of the smart inductive sensors is the integrated data storage: cumulative operating data can be stored here – e.g. B. for predictive maintenance. Using high-speed communication from device to device, data can also be processed decentrally. Visible LED indicators simplify sensor commissioning and troubleshooting.

All customer-specific configurations are stored on the local IO-Link master, so that the sensors can be easily replaced via plug-and-play if necessary. Since the housing is made of chrome-plated brass, the sensors are particularly robust and suitable for use in operating ranges from -25 °C to +70 °C.
