The Control Techniques SI-BACnet IP option module provides high-speed Ethernet-based communication to the flexible Commander C and Specialist Pump Drive F600 and HVAC Drive H300 product lines. This provides a scalable feature set and performance levels that cover a wide range of application requirements for fans, pumps and compressors. This allows for simple and convenient centralized control of multiple applications controlled by Control Techniques drives in a building. It is also worth noting that the HVAC Drive H300 comes standard with BACnet MS/TP. The advanced features of BACnet IP improve energy efficiency and contribute to the sustainable and cost-effective operation of building management systems. Control Techniques drives can control a wide range of induction and permanent magnet motors, most efficiently achieving IE5 efficiency levels. The Commander C and Specialist drive series control multiple applications in the building via the BACnet IP network, each contributing to overall energy savings and enabling a faster payback period.

SI-BACnet IP enables user commands and provides motor data references to the drives. It also provides process or setpoint values to the drive’s PID controller. Drive status information is also available, and analog and digital I/O can be easily monitored and controlled. Drive errors can also be reset and drives can be commissioned using the intuitive Connect PC commissioning tool.
