Delta Industrial Automation will showcase its latest technologies and solutions for machine tools at the Taiwan International Machine Tool Show (TIMTOS) 2013 from March 5th~10th, 2013, at booth no. B0620, 1F, Hall 1, Taipei World Trade Center (address: No.5, Sec. 5, Xinyi Rd., Taipei City).
A biannual event, TIMTOS is the leading machine tool tradeshow in Taiwan. Delta Industrial Automation will present its latest CNC system, the ASDA-M Series servo system, the CH200/C200/REG2000 Series AC motor drive and the DMV series machine vision system, as well as three live demos of large machine tools.
Delta’s CNC system was just launched in February, 2012, and it is the first CNC system developed and produced by a Taiwanese company. Delta is strong in both R&D technologies and manufacturing capabilities. With key CNC system products such as control panels, drives and axes controllers, Delta has successfully constructed a CNC solution with multiple CPUs for different controls to raise operation efficiency. Delta combines servo drives and high performance, high resolution servo motors through the latest DMCNET communication network to make this CNC solution more complete, flexible and competitive. This CNC solution possesses high-speed, high precision and high quality finishing features that will enhance the speed, quality and stability of processing industries. It’s a brand new option for high-speed tapping, engraving and milling processes, tooling machine manufacturing, component processing and manufacturing, and other related industries.
Delta will also focus on its latest ASDA-M Series with a new 3-in-1 system design concept. This new design allows the ASDA-M Series to connect and control three axes synchronously with only one CPU. It prevents time delays in data exchange between multi-axes during operation to increase connection speed and response precision. The ASDA-M Series also has the built-in functions of a small programmable logic controller (PLC) for faster and easier device programming. The built-in PLC functions allow the controller to perform interpolation without a host, so users can save more installation time and space while enhancing system efficiency and speed. With its high speed and high precision, the ASDA-M Series can be applied in machinery manufacturing and for robot arms in factory automation.
In addition, Delta’s AC motor drive CH2000 Series and C200 Series are suitable for axis drives for high-end and small machine tool applications, and the REG2000 Series can precisely control the speed of a main axis and XYZ axes while regenerating power during operation to satisfy user requirements.
Delta will also present its DMV Series Delta Machine Vision System and related accessories to complete the machine tool solution. In addition, Delta will display a puzzle machine which uses the DMV Series to detect and precisely complete a puzzle.
To give visitors a thorough idea of Delta’s high-speed and high precision solutions, Delta Industrial Automation will also display three live demos: a tapping machine center, a vertical drilling machine center, and a vertical multi-tasking machine center.
