The compressed air and vacuum technology industry will be at the Hannover Messe again in 2025. From 31 March to 4 April, exhibitors in the “Compressed Air and Vacuum Technology” area in Hall 12 will present their latest products and solutions for industrial applications to a global audience. As a cross-cutting technology, compressed air and vacuum technology are closely linked to the themes “Smart Manufacturing” and “Energy for Industry”.

“For manufacturers of compressed air and vacuum technology, it makes sense to use digital tools for condition monitoring, predictive maintenance and spare parts and maintenance management,” emphasizes Christoph Singrün, Managing Director Compressors, Compressed Air and Vacuum Technology Division at the VDMA. “The wide range of possible applications ensures stable business continuity despite constantly increasing requirements.” Germany’s exports last year amounted to around 5.8 billion euros and it continues to strengthen its European business.

The “Compressed Air and Vacuum Technology” area includes compressed air storage and supply, remote monitoring systems, Industry 4.0 solutions, compressors, process filtration, pumps, control systems and services. At Hannover Messe, companies can get in touch with decision makers in the fields of automation, energy technology and electrical engineering, as well as mechanical and plant engineering and research and development.

At the 2nd International CEO Panel of Compressed Air & Vacuum on 31 March 2025, chief executive officers from leading global companies in the industry will discuss the difference between theory and practice. Topics range from the digitalization of compressed air supply to the hydrogen revolution and investments in sustainability. Co-organizer is the Compressors, Compressed Air and Vacuum Technology Department within the German Association of Mechanical and Plant Engineering (VDMA).
