HIWIN’s high-precision cross tables and gantry systems guarantee repeatable accuracies in the µm range. At the heart of the precision systems are HIWIN linear motors and profile rail guides. Together with high-resolution distance measurement systems, they guarantee extremely precise positioning.
Thanks to the built-in direct drive, the precision systems are highly dynamic, require little maintenance and can also be equipped with various travel carriages. The distance traveled is measured using optical or magnetic distance measurement systems, incremental or absolute, which guarantee precision. Repetition accuracies of ±0.5 µm can be achieved.
HIWIN offers its cross tables and gantry systems in standardized versions, which can be precisely customized. In addition to the stroke and encoder system, customers can also customize the motor type, e-chain and profile to encapsulation according to their needs. Optionally, a granite machine bed is offered that dampens vibrations and maintains temperature. In addition, precision systems can optionally be equipped with a Z axis, for which we offer different drive options (linear motor or spindle). And depending on the environmental conditions and dynamic requirements, the gantry is available in a single- or double-sided version.
