Hollow shaft rotary tables from the DGII series from Oriental Motor are powerful and very easy to install. The actuators are now also available in combination with the servo motors from the AZX series: The new drive system achieves high torques in the upper speed range.
The new rotating actuators from the DGII series combine a hollow shaft rotary table with a high-torque servo motor from the AZX series. Thanks to the battery-free mechanical absolute encoder, this combination is characterized by a repeat accuracy of ±15 angular seconds. The absolute encoder also enables the drive to be moved quickly to the home position, so that machine cycles are significantly shortened by using the new hollow shaft rotary table.
Since the rotary encoder of the AZX drives works without a battery, designers also save wiring effort and installation space for reference sensors. The AZX servo motors are supplied with a driver with fieldbus (EtherCAT, Profinet or EtherNet/IP). Their programming is simplified by the free MEXE02 parameterization software from Oriental Motor.
The new DGII hollow shaft rotary table with AZX drive has a high degree of rigidity and is designed for torques of up to 50 Nm, speeds of up to 1833 degrees/s, load torques of up to 100 Nm and load capacities of up to 4,000 N. Oriental Motor supplies the rotating actuator with AZX servo motor with a hollow shaft diameter of 100 mm and a frame size of 200 mm. The rotating actuators are particularly suitable for use in semiconductor production and in robots.
