FLUX a manufacturer of high-precision encoders, today announced the launch of IND-MAX, a new line of highly accurate and robust inductive encoders for harsh environments.
Available in six sizes ranging from 125 mm to 375 mm outer diameter, IND-MAX encoders offer a compact, low-profile form factor with large bore diameters and resolutions up to 23 bits. Robust housing throughout ensures reliable operation even under high shock and vibration. Versions with IP67 protection are also available.
Attributes of IND-MAX include:
- High-reliability inductive technology
- True absolute position measurement
- Flat with a large through-hole
- Simple installation: plug & play with no calibration
- Wide operating and mounting tolerances
- Immune to magnetic and electromagnetic disturbance, insensitive to foreign matter
The new IND-MAX product line is ideal for applications in extreme environments on land, sea and in the air. Rest assured that unlike other technologies such as optical or capacitive, which may prove unreliable under these conditions, FLUX inductive encoders will not disappoint.
Paul Tutzu, Managing Director and Founder of FLUX GmbH, said: “We are excited to be able to offer this product to a wider audience. With thousands of options as standard and available in short delivery times, we are excited to bring this product to a wider audience.
IND-MAX complements FLUX’s other encoder product lines, including the lightweight, compact, unpackaged IND-ROT inductive encoder and two product lines based on the company’s patented Giant Magneto Impedance (GMI) technology.
