Kendrion is showcasing a comprehensive range of control solutions from the Kuhnke FIO series that address the current challenges in industrial automation. One standout product is the Kuhnke FIO Controller 111, a compact and flexible PLC with powerful features. It is based on CODESYS V3 and offers integrated analog I/Os and motion functions, making it well-suited for automation solutions in mechanical engineering. The controller’s communication interfaces, such as EtherCAT, CAN, and RS485, allow seamless integration into diverse system environments.

Another highlight is the versatile Kuhnke FIO Controller 116, an i.MX6-based controller with modular expansion options and compatibility with CODESYS SoftMotion and OPC UA. This enables the controller to provide optimal solutions for complex automation tasks. The new feature of CODESYS Softcontainer allows users to customize the controller through the CODESYS Store without the need for additional hardware, offering more flexibility in selecting and using software solutions.

Additionally, Kendrion is introducing the robust FIO Controller 328, which is equipped with a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 and designed for demanding industrial applications. This control solution features USB 3.

Furthermore, Kendrion will showcase significant improvements in the CODESYS HMI panel series. The Vico 04 and Vico MT27 panel series have been upgraded with important features, including CODESYS Webvisu. This feature allows CODESYS HMI visualizations to be accessed remotely through a web browser.

3T Electronics & Embedded Systems, part of Kendrion since September 2021, will present its VIPER platform designed for sensorless motor control. The Letter Wheel Demonstrator will demonstrate the practical application of VIPER and Model-Driven Development. Additionally, Sjoerd Rozendal, Embedded Software Engineer at 3T, will deliver a presentation at the SPS Forum on how Model-Driven Development is crucial in the development and optimization of sensorless motor control.

Kendrion showcases its diverse range of industrial brakes and clutches that are used across various sectors. The portfolio includes versatile spring-applied brakes like the powerful INTORQ BFK552 for intralogistics, the robust INTORQ BFK470 with IP66 protection, and the new INTORQ BFK557 holding brake with an emergency stop function suitable for AGVs and conveyor systems.

Kendrion also presents its proven permanent magnet brakes from the High Torque Line, known for their high power density in a compact design. This year, the focus is on two new products: the Servo Slim Line Type 502 and the Servo Line Type KS 02. The Servo Slim Line Type 502 stands out with its flat, space-saving design, allowing maximum utilization of installation space. This brake offers customers flexibility in assembly, as it can be guided onto the motor shaft from both sides due to its small hub. While sizes 05 and 07 are already available, size 04 is a new addition to the range.
