At this year’s EuroBLECH 2012, from 23 to 27 October, we will be showcasing innovative joining technologies and proven solutions for the metalworking industry.

Please visit us at our booth at the Deutsche Messe exhibition center in Hannover. In addition to technological innovations and pioneering welding and joining processes in robot-based automation, we will be presenting the KUKA Cobra for fast and efficient press automation, the KUKA flexibleCUBE, the new compact arc welding cell, and our extensive range of products and services for tool and die construction.

We will be accompanied by KUKA Roboter GmbH, who will be displaying not only their standard products for metalworking, such as the KR 16 arc, but also an application with the new 16-axis control cabinet and the new generation of positioners.

We look forward to welcoming you to our booth M36 in Hall 15 and to showing you the world of automation.

ugsburg-based automation specialist and system integrator KUKA Systems GmbH is participating this year at EuroBLECH 2012, the 22nd international technology trade fair for sheet metal working in Hanover. With around 1,400 exhibitors and more than 60,000 trade visitors, this is one of the flagship fairs for sheet metal working. From 23 to 27 October 2012, at booth M36 in Hall 15, KUKA Systems will be showcasing its latest welding cell solution and presenting the complete spectrum of products and solutions for automated production from this technological leader.

Automation in sheet metal working has a long tradition at Augsburg-based system builder KUKA Systems. The company supplies special machines, systems, tools and dies and production solutions for all aspects of joining, assembly, pressing and handling. The numerous process technologies, which include welding, bonding, cutting and press automation, are constantly being developed and refined for manufacturing industry. As a leading automation specialist, KUKA Systems GmbH is presenting its latest product innovation in the field of modular welding cells – the KUKA flexibleCUBE. This standardized welding cell can be used as a simple first step into automation or to expand manufacturing capacity. On account of its design, it can be used flexibly and dynamically in manufacturing operations and provides a high degree of production reliability through simple operator control and high availability.

In addition to the new robotic welding cell, the system integrator is also demonstrating its prowess in the area of press automation. KUKA Systems is presenting the latest generation in the area of Press Shop Solutions, the KUKA Cobra. An additional linear axis is mounted on the robot arm, enabling the presses to be loaded and unloaded quickly and reliably. The advantage of this lies in the reduction of the press stroke, which optimizes the cycle time.

With the Tools and Dies Business Unit, KUKA Systems GmbH is presenting its know-how in the field of forming and cutting tools. For sheet-metal parts made of steel, high-strength steel or aluminum – the company has great expertise in the processing of a wide range of metal grades. At the Schwarzenberg subsidiary, the production of press dies in all sizes and degrees of complexity is daily practice, e.g. for side panels, doors and hatches, fenders, roofs, structural members and underbody parts.

Furthermore, the Augsburg-based system builder will also be showcasing an innovation for spot welding at the exhibition. This new KUKA Systems technology is called RoboSpin and is particularly well suited to the challenging task of aluminum / aluminum welding. A turning motion executed during the welding process enables aluminum to be welded just as easily as steel.
