From 10 to 14 September 2024, everything will revolve around metal processing at the AMB in Stuttgart. At stand C71 in hall 6, KUKA will show how easily robots can be integrated with the company’s KUKA.PLC mxAutomation software and how mobile robotics ensures operation true to the motto “Industrial intelligence_your automation world”.

Mobility area: from deburring to transport

In the mobility area, KUKA and partners will demonstrate how the interaction between robots and machine tools advances metal processing. WMS-Engineering GmbH is demonstrating the automatic deburring of components with the compact KR IONTEC 50. MAIROTEC’s MAIROFlex CYBERTECH does not hide the fact that it is a multifunctional robot. In addition to quality control, it also masters bin picking with the same high performance as ever. To do this, the robot removes the components from the box and sends them for further processing.

Thanks to the cooperation of BEC GmbH, trade fair visitors can experience the automated tool change on the KMR iisy. Another transport expert is also on site: the autonomous mobile platform KMP 1500P transports materials reliably from A to B.

More powerful robots: the right solution for every need

KUKA is bringing three even more powerful robots to Stuttgart. The KR QUANTEC is robust and flexible: whether it’s palletizing or assembly, this robot uses its power variably. The KR FORTEC ultra is compact and highly efficient. It provides powerful support for machine tools. And the versatile 6-axis robot KR AGILUS for metal processing achieves maximum working speeds in the smallest of spaces.

Easy to use: Software for fast integration and monitoring

Intuitive, fast, smooth: This is how KUKA robot solutions can be integrated with the KUKA.PLC mxAutomation software. Thanks to the interface, the robot can be programmed and operated in the usual control environment. The intelligent software platform KUKA iiQoT enables data-based automation during ongoing operation. Information about system administration, maintenance, error detection and status monitoring is gathered there and displayed in a clear, user-friendly dashboard.
