The global intralogistics community gathered in Stuttgart from March 11 to 13 for LogiMAT 2025, the International Trade Show for Intralogistics Solutions and Process Management, with this year’s theme being “Passion for Solutions.” Following three days of enlightening presentations showcasing ongoing industry trends, feedback from attendees, exhibitors, and the event management team was overwhelmingly favorable. This year, organizers secured 1,625 exhibitors from 40 nations, with more than 300 being first-time exhibitors, utilizing over 125,000 square meters of total exhibit floor space in all ten completely booked exhibit halls at the Messe Stuttgart convention center. “An improved floor plan enabled us to host more exhibitors by liberating an extra 1,000 square meters, resulting in a total of 68,192 square meters net exhibit area,” states LogiMAT Exhibition Director Michael Ruchty from event organizer EUROEXPO Messe- und Kongress-GmbH. This year, over one in three exhibitors (35.9%) arrived in Stuttgart from countries beyond Germany, with a quarter of them coming from outside Europe.

During the three-day event, exhibitors presented their newest product innovations aimed at enhancing efficiency and sustainability in intralogistics, featuring around 140 product launches from both Europe and globally. Numerous exhibitors additionally indicated that they secured significant contracts, kicked off projects, and started strategic alliances – among them are the Brabender Group of Switzerland, supply chain solutions provider Ecovium, battery supplier Wiferion, software firm TUP, and AI robotics company Sereact. A total of 22.1% of industry experts present granted a contract during the event or intend to do so right after. “The numerous agreements signed highlight LogiMAT’s nature as an event where industry professionals gather to conduct business,” states Exhibition Director Ruchty.

The intralogistics event attracted a continually large crowd, with a total of 65,719 industry professionals (2024: 67,420) present over the course of three days. “Exhibition Director Ruchty expresses satisfaction, stating that LogiMAT 2025 almost matched the previous year’s record attendance, even amidst labor strikes affecting airports and public transport near the venue.” A study carried out by the independent market research firm Wissler & Partner from Basel revealed that nearly half of the attending professionals (49.9%) had the power to make decisions in their companies, while 36.4% attended with particular investment initiatives in mind. Segmented by sector, 55% of attendees were from the manufacturing industry, while 11.2% were from wholesale and retail. More than 40% of attendees journeyed over 300 km to participate, with 23.1% arriving from beyond Germany, and almost half of that group (9.4%) hailing from Asia, Africa, and the Americas. The attendees from Australia embarked on the longest journey.

“Beyond the event’s strictly expositional nature, the fundamental soft skills in our concept contribute to LogiMAT’s success,” Ruchty concludes. “This additional value arises partly from the knowledge exchanged during the conference-level program, engaging live events, and the Mobile Robotics User Forum.” The LogiMAT Campus career and networking event, which was further refined this year, provided an additional advantage on the final day of the show. “LogiMAT Campus was initiated last year to broaden the variety of recruitment resources for exhibitors and to provide opportunities in logistics for talented job seekers,” Ruchty clarifies. “At the new site in the ICS Foyer, exhibitors noted a significant rise in interest in comparison to the previous year.” LogiMAT Campus showcased 16 exhibitors engaging with entry-level professionals regarding job opportunities within their organizations.

“With the generally positive feedback from industry professionals and exhibitors, LogiMAT has firmly established itself as a barometer of new trends, a networking platform, and a working trade show on the international stage,” Ruchty concludes. “For the intralogistics industry, it’s a gathering of superlatives.”
