Mitsubishi Electric GOT1000 series HMIs provide advanced SFC program system monitoring functions for easier troubleshooting

In advanced automation systems with complex SFC (Sequential Function Chart) programs and multiple motion controllers and servo axes, system monitoring and troubleshooting has traditionally required making individual PC connections to each part of the control system – something which is time consuming and inconvenient. With the GOT1000 series HMIs, Mitsubishi Electric has removed this headache by enabling complete system monitoring from a single, convenient location.

The SFC language was developed to accommodate the programming of more advanced systems, but troubleshooting these more complex programs can be a challenge. The GOT1000 series HMIs enable monitoring of SFC programs used in both PLC and motion CPU’s from Mitsubishi Electric iQ platform as well as MELSEC L series PLCs for easier troubleshooting. When a block is displayed on the HMI, the active step is highlighted, enabling you to see the complete status at a glance. The SFC program then scrolls automatically along with the progress of active steps.

The GOT can access up to three iQ platform motion controllers on a single PLC backplane, enabling users to monitor the program and make changes to parameter settings quickly and easily. Furthermore, the GOT can also connect to Mitsubishi Electric servo amplifiers, enabling users to perform set up, monitoring, alarm, display, diagnosis, parameter setting and test operations.
