HMS Networks has announced the launch of the Anybus Defender series, a suite of industrial network security devices designed to protect critical infrastructure.
As cyber threats increasingly target industrial environments, the Anybus Defender series provides a firewall to protect Operational Technology (OT) networks. Specifically designed for industrial control systems, the main use cases are network segmentation according to ISA/IEC 62443-3-3, network address translation with traffic filtering and deep packet inspection (DPI) of industrial protocols enabling comprehensive protection of industrial assets. The products are ideal for machine builders looking to integrate security into their products, as well as manufacturing and critical infrastructure asset owners looking to upgrade their existing networks with new protection strategies.
The Anybus Defender series includes four different models to meet different security needs:
- Anybus Defender Compact 1004 – a space-saving solution for small industrial environments that offers robust protection without compromising on protection use cases. Anybus Defender 4002 – A versatile firewall for mid-sized networks combining advanced security features with easy deployment.
- Anybus Defender 6004 This model is ideal for larger installations and offers advanced security features and comprehensive network protection.
- Anybus Defender 6024 Our flagship model designed for the most demanding industrial applications, offering comprehensive security and network coverage.
Perfect for physical segmentation strategies, Anybus Defender comes with a range of port configurations, from RJ-45 Ethernet to SFP ports supporting copper or fiber connections. Anybus Defender 4002, 6004 and 6024 are available with three different licenses enabling different security use cases.
