With a load capacity of up to 16 kg, the HORST1000 G2 is the most powerful robot in its size class on the market. Like the HORST1500, the robot features a unique patented drive technology that is maintenance-free and particularly cost-efficient, significantly reducing lifetime costs. A 6-year warranty on the drivetrain highlights the reliability and cost-effectiveness of the system.
“Our technology combines innovation with economic added value to make automation accessible to a broad user base,” says Jens Riegger, CEO of Fruitcore Robotics. “Companies that use our robots achieve an impressive return on investment in just a few months and gain a clear competitive advantage.”
Intelligent control and safe human-machine interaction
The highlight of the new digital robot generation is the AI co-pilot integrated into the control software, which gives the robot cognitive capabilities. This technology allows users to communicate with the robot in real time and solve complex tasks quickly and accurately with AI support. AI Copilot not only simplifies support but also assists with certain programming tasks, which allows even more flexibility and significantly reduces dependency on experts.
In addition, the HORST1000 G2 features advanced safety solutions designed to ensure safe use by humans. Like all robots from Fruitcore robotics, the robot can be operated without a protective fence and safely slowed down using safety sensors. Also available as a ready-to-use solution kit that meets all safety requirements and saves valuable time in CE compliance.
Optimized for machine loads and harsh environments
With a reach of 1141 mm and a load capacity of up to 16 kg, the HORST1000 G2 is optimized for machine care and parts handling tasks. It moves heavy tools and components across the entire work area with ease. The robot has an IP54 protection rating, making it ideal for harsh production environments. The HORST1000 G2’s compact design allows it to get closer to machines or reach deeper, thus offering greater flexibility in demanding production environments. The robot handles work surfaces up to 450 x 900 mm or trays with a square format of up to 520 x 520 mm.
Intelligent software functions allow flexible management of different machine production programs for different work orders. The smooth integration of machine functions such as automatic door opening and communication with clamping devices offers a particularly efficient solution for CNC machines. Furthermore, increased axis accelerations increase efficiency when handling heavy parts or using large grippers.
Ready for use on CNC machines in metalworking
The HORST1000 G2, in combination with an automation module for machine management, offers a ready-to-use solution specially developed for machine management. “This allows for a fast introduction into the production line with only 15% of the effort of a typical project,” explains Jens Riegger. Thanks to existing interfaces to most CNC machine manufacturers, the robot can be seamlessly integrated.
In metalworking medical technology, robots are used to manufacture surgical instruments, efficiently loading and unloading them into CNC milling and lathes and preparing them for the production process. They are also used in the metalworking automotive industry for loading and unloading machines and ensuring a consistently high quality in measurement and test work.
