New international Holland High-Tech Systems conference 2013

Starting April 2013, Belgium and Dutch partners internationally position Europeans largest high tech conference: High-Tech Systems 2013. High-Tech Systems 2013 conference is supported by mayor German technology and industry organisations.

At the end of April 2013 the historic industrial site StrijpS in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, will be the stage of High-Tech Systems 2013, a new international conference and exhibition on HighTech Systems development in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The initiative by Belgian and Dutch organisations is supported by the German organisations VDE, Production NRW, IN|DIE and Spectaris.

The ambition of the organizers is to create a high tech conference and exhibition in the heart of Western Europe and put this initiative on the World map in the coming years. ‘We focus on an event for high-end systems development and have the ambition to grow in visitors and international importance every year’, says René Raaijmakers, managing director of executive organization Techwatch. ‘We intent to invest in a strong international high tech platform that is of vital importance for the Western European high tech industry, as well as for knowledge institutes.

Heart of HTS 2013 is a lecture programme focused on advanced mechatronics, precision technology and system engineering for the sectors semicon, automotive, medical and agro & food. Additionally HTS 2013 also caters to the theme of conceptual system engineering and model driven development. Other special lecture tracks will focus on the various computer aided design techniques like physical modelling and finite element methods. In total there are twelve whole-day long sessions.

For decision makers and technical management the event features a special lecture track dedicated to international collaboration. Among others ASML, Zeiss, Mapper, LETI, Philips Innovation Services and Süss MicroTec will give presentations about their experience in international collaboration in high tech system development

Apart from the general program HTS 2013 gives floor to several side events from organisations and players in the high tech market. Applied Piëzo will organize their end symposium for the research programmeSmartPie, focussing on system integrating and control for piezo technology. Dimes, NanonextNL, TNO, an High Tech NL will organize workshops on sensor technology and there will be an afternoon session on service business chances for the high-tech systems market. The Enterprise Europe Network will support the event with international matchmaking during the event.

To make a visit to the conference city of Eindhoven more attractive for international guests HTS 2013 will have a special tour programme on 23 April with exciting to high-tech companies ASML, FMTC, Frencken, the Holst centre, Imec, Mutracx, NTS, NXP, Omniradar, Philips Innovation Services, Shapeways, Sorama, VDL-ETG and Xpress. The tour will end with a dinner and will offer splendid networking possibilities.
