Accelerate processes to boost productivity and reduce costs: With this aim in mind, Bosch Rexroth is expanding its portfolio of high-speed runner blocks to include sizes 45, 55 and 65. The linear guides have top speeds of up to 10 m/s, which is almost equal to the current world record of under 9.6 seconds for the 100 meter sprint.

The new high-speed runner blocks complement the existing sizes from 15 to 35 and can now move heavier loads twice as fast as the standard versions. Their larger size allows for higher load capacities, meaning there is potential for longer intervals between maintenance. This extends the service life of the overall system.

The development of the new larger sizes is based on Bosch Rexroth’s many years of experience with the smaller high-speed variants. Thanks to the transfer of know-how, sizes 45, 55 and 65 achieve maximum speeds of up to 10, 7.5 and 5 m/s with a high load capacity.

The new high-speed runner blocks help users in many fields to speed up processes and thus increase productivity and efficiency. Typical applications for the new sizes include feed and removal axes for plastic injection molding machines and presses. Other examples include crash test equipment, fast handling units for large loads and applications with crank drives or linear motors.

Digital engineering, quick delivery, efficient service

Like all runner blocks from Bosch Rexroth, the high-speed variants can be ordered online quickly and easily using modern e-tools. The runner block configurator, for example, speeds up digital engineering thanks to straightforward selection and configuration. The global Rexroth sales and service network ensures quick delivery and maximum availability. Rexroth runner blocks and rails can also be replaced independently of each other. As a result, they are not only economical – they also help to conserve resources too. The replacement service also provides opportunities to upgrade to higher accuracy classes.
