WERMA’s successful MC product family gives up to 7 color impressions with just one flash. The series is available in two different sizes and with or without additional acoustic functionality. The MC series beacons can be used worldwide, even under extreme conditions, thanks to the high degree of protection IP69K and UL certification for the US market. The MC55 series is now also available as a touch version with smart functions.
A powerful, robust and compact product family in two sizes
WERMA’s MC series is available in two sizes: the MC35 has a diameter of 35 mm and the MC55 has a diameter of 55 mm. Both LED lights offer up to seven colors in one light (red, yellow, green, white, blue, purple and turquoise). They are also available in a tricolor version with red, yellow and green. All models also feature a loud acoustic function for extra attention.
Not only are the lights clearly visible from all sides, but they also have a long service life of up to 50,000 hours, making them particularly easy to maintain. They are also robust and designed for extreme operating conditions. High protection rating IP69K and UL certification for the US market allow for use worldwide, including in food processing and other demanding industries.
New variants with smart touch functionality
WERMA has expanded its compact MC series with two new models: MC55 Touch and MC55 Touch Smart. Both versions offer smart additional features such as status change by touch, acknowledgment response and time-based escalation mode, which further enhances flexibility and smart solutions for industrial applications.
The new products extend the MC55 series with innovative touch functionality, providing intelligent solutions for modern machine and system control.
The new MC55 Touch offers three predefined colors in one light: red, yellow and green. The user can trigger the impulse signal by touching it and provide feedback to the control system.
In addition to the touch functionality, the MC 55 Touch Smart also offers the option to configure the entire product behavior through software. For example, the color, light pattern (steady light, flashing light, strobe or pulse), tone, etc. can be adjusted. The output can also be configured in two modes: pulse signal and 24V switching.
Smart software included
The “MC 55 Touch Smart” offers extensive functionality that can be easily customized using the intuitive WERMA configuration software. This allows you to define different signal modes, lighting images, tones and time-controlled escalation. Up to two escalation levels are possible for each status, including time settings. As well as recognising signals and alarms, the MC 55 Touch can also control machine functions using output signals such as start and stop.
The software is designed to be easy to use and can be easily configured to meet the individual requirements of different applications.
