Omron NX1P2 Modbus RTU communication with Daudin Remote IO

This example shows how to configure and program a Modbus RTU communication between the Omron NX1P2 PLC and a Daudin brand iO-GRID M Remote IO module.

Omron Sysmac Studio programming software is used for configuration.

Omron NX1P2 PLC uses NX1W-CIF11/NX1W-CIF11 RS422/RS485 communication module

The instructions used are “NX_ModbusRtuRead” and “NX_ModbusRtuWrite”
