At the hybrid Hannover Messe 2022 (30 May – 2 June 2022), Pilz will be presenting complete automation solutions including safety and security, which allow automation to be implemented individually and flexibly. Visitors to the exhibition can obtain information about individually adaptable solutions in person on the Pilz stand. The focus: efficiency.

Industrial transformation and resource efficiency are the focus of the Hannover Messe. The packaging industry in particular is also changing – Pilz will be demonstrating, among other things, how all-round safe, complete solutions support this process.

Safe access and safe mobility

At the hybrid industrial showcase, Pilz will be presenting safe solutions for access management: How can safety gates be safeguarded efficiently and individually? The thematic focus is equally on intralogistics. Interactively, visitors to the stand can see for themselves how automated guided vehicle systems can be used with Pilz products and services safely, and above all productively in intralogistics.

Control systems: Key to individually adaptable processes

Pilz illustrates how control systems are a key to safe and individually adaptable processes, using “safe cardboard feed” by way of example. With the solution package certified by TÜV-SÜD, users have twice the flexibility: they can select “their” individual controller, tailored to the application. Besides flexibility, it’s power that makes the difference: Pilz will demonstrate how, with the new, extremely slimline standalone base unit PNOZ m C0 from the range of safe configurable small controllers PNOZmulti 2, even small machines can be automated efficiently and with high performance, irrespective of the plant or machine type, country or industry. That’s because the new, extremely compact power base has the structural properties of a safety relay, but is as powerful as a safety controller.

Direct to the field for increased safety

With the new remote I/O module PDP67 PN, at the Hannover Messe, Pilz is launching its latest addition to the product portfolio for decentralised applications and applications directly in the field. Equipped with protection type IP67 and robust die cast zinc housing, the new remote I/O module is ideally suited for positioning directly on the machine. As only one device type is needed, users save stockholding space and costs.

Pilz: “Makes Sense” over 20 years

Under the motto “Portugal Makes Sense”, Portugal is the partner country of the Hannover Messe 2022. Pilz Portugal has been active in the country’s key industrial sectors since 2002. With a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of safe automation, the Pilz subsidiary most notably provides support to customers in the automotive industry and their suppliers.

Pilz in Portugal is also actively involved in initiatives launched in partnership with innovation centres and technology leaders from the European Union, as part of the Horizon 2020 and Next Generation programmes. Experts from Pilz Portugal will be available in Hannover to talk personally with visitors to the Pilz stand.

If you are unable to visit the exhibition in person, then Pilz invites you to the “Pilz Automation Days”, from 17 – 19 May 2022. This is a multi-day event, where delegates can find out more about current issues concerning “Safety, Security and Automation”, and exchange views with experts.
