From June 21 to 24, 2022, the linear technology specialist Rollon will be showing at the automatica in Munich how automation concepts can be implemented reliably, flexibly and economically through a combination of linear movements. The highlight of the trade fair is the new Cobot Transfer Unit (CTU), a simple plug-and-play solution for UR robots with UR+-certified linear axes.
Rollon offers one of the largest mechanical linear axis kits and implements technically and economically optimized automation solutions for every application – from seventh axes for industrial robots and cobots to flexible portal and multi-axis concepts. In cooperation with system integrators and partners, tailor-made complete systems are created that meet the highest standards of efficiency, reliability and economy.
The 7th axis comes from Rollon
in the area of the 7th axisRollon offers the most comprehensive portfolio for small and medium-sized payloads on the market and is a sought-after automation partner. With the modular travel axes, the radius of action of all robots can be extended, regardless of the manufacturer or robot type. The wide range of different drive and guide systems as well as protective devices covers almost all requirements and environmental conditions – from very dynamic and flexible to particularly clean and hygienic to extremely robust.
More freedom of movement for cobots
Rollon has developed the Cobot Transfer Unit (CTU) especially for the lightweight robots from Universal Robots. The complete package consists of a linear axis, controller and software and was specially designed to work with the popular cobots from Denmark. The simple plug-and-play solution for fast UR integration is UR+-certified, individually configurable and easy to use – making it an ideal solution for expanding the workspace of UR robots. The result: more efficient utilization, more flexible processes and lower costs.
Faster, higher, further
If greater dynamics or range are required, portal robots or multi-axis systems are the answerthe means of choice. The tailor-made system solutions require minimal installation space and can therefore be integrated into existing production layouts more quickly and easily. The basis is formed by the robust linear axes of the Rollon Actuator Line. They are characterized by high load ratings, traversing speeds and repeatability and achieve high cycle rates with a low dead weight. Even very long Y-axes, large spans with minimal deflection, continuous use and environments with abrasive dust are no problem.
