The powerful servo drive modules DC 064 and DC 104 with universal encoders expand SIGMATEK’s S-DIAS series motion line. Positioning tasks can therefore be performed very precisely and quickly. The DC 104 double module variant with 10 A continuous or 20 A peak current at 48 V delivers up to 480 W of power in just 25 mm width without additional fan modules. For applications with up to 6 A continuous and 12 A peak current at 48 V DC, the DC 064 single disk module is the perfect choice.
For precise position feedback, a universal encoder interface is available, which also allows the connection of absolute encoders (SSI, EnDAT2.2, BiSS-C P2P, Sanyo Denki, Tamagawa, incremental encoders with or without Hall encoder). An integrated motor temperature sensor input ensures that maximum thresholds are not exceeded; if not, the power stage is switched off.
A +24 V DC output allows easy control of a holding brake. An external braking resistor can also be connected for added flexibility. The safety function Safe Torque Off (STO), SIL 3, Cat. 4, PL e according to EN 13849-1/2, can be activated via the two-channel enable input interface (+24 V/3.2 mA/0.5 ms).
