SIGMATEK’s MDD 2000 multi-axis servo amplifier offers maximum flexibility in operation. If the machine application has different loads on the individual axes of a three-axis drive, the continuous axis current can be customized by simple parameter setting.
To do this, the user defines the permissible continuous axis current, taking into account the total power losses. The specified continuous current is limited by the maximum possible peak current. When “enabling” an axis via software, the inverter checks the validity of the setpoint. This software-based overloaded axis programming option ensures high distribution and optimal utilization in multi-axis networks for maximum efficiency.
