In its anniversary year, SPS IPC Drives proved once again its ongoing success. Exhibitors and visitors repeatedly confirmed the importance of the event for the electric automation industry. 92 % of visitors are already planning today to visit SPS IPC Drives 2015.

Exhibitors meet the right trade visitors

SPS IPC Drives 2014 offered the 1,602 exhibitors the opportunity to expand their network of customers and deepen existing business relations. The impression on site is confirmed by the results of the visitor survey: 78 % of visitors are involved in procurement decisions of their company.

Internationality increased once again

About one third of the exhibitors came from outside of Germany. Including Germany, 41 countries were represented at SPS IPC Drives. The top 5 exhibitor countries outside of Germany were Italy, China, Switzerland, Austria, and the USA. The proportion of foreign visitors increased to 23%.

Satisfied trade visitors

The trade visitors enjoyed a comprehensive overview of the market. This was also due to the many product novelties which the exhibitors introduced to the audience at SPS IPC Drives 2014.
The visitors’ satisfaction is also reflected by the following results of the visitor survey:
93 % of visitors rated the trade fair as very good/good,
98 % of visitors will recommend the event to colleagues and customers and 83 % of visitors stated that they had achieved the objectives of their visit.

Conference with comprehensive program

At the SPS IPC Drives Conference 253 participants discussed about the latest developments in the electric automation industry in 48 lectures, two keynote speeches and a panel discussion. Thus, the conference allowed again the exchange of knowledge at a high professional level between industry and science.
