China International Industry Fair 2012 – CIIF received its 14th grand celebration of opening at Shanghai Expo Centre on 6 November, 2012. The 5-day event will be held during 6-10 November at Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
Vice-Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, minister of the ministry of Science and Technology, Mr. Wan Gang attended and announced the opening of the 14th session China International Industry Fair. Mr. Su Bo, vice Minister of the Ministry of industry and information Technology. Deputy China International Trade Representative of the Ministry of Commerce, Mr. Chong Quan delivered the speech. Shanghai Vice Mayor of Shanghai Municipal government , Mr.Yang Xiong make the welcoming remarks. Mr. Ai Baojun , Vice Mayor of Shanghai Municipal government and member of the standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee preside the opening ceremony.
Under the theme of “ Transformation and Innovation Strategy emerging industry “, CIIF focus to promote the new path of industrialization of China as a big manufacturing country to a manufacturing powerful nation.China International Industry Fair 2012 underlines its position as an international industry service hub for the manufacturing industry with 7 theme shows. Metalworking and CNC Machine Tool Show, Industrial Automation Show, Environmental Protection Technology & Equipment Show, Information & Communication Technology Show, Energy Show, Scientific Technological Innovation Show, New Energy Auto Show were held concurrently under this session’s event. CIIF 2012 has accommodated 1,648 exhibitors from 23 countries with totally 140,000 square meters and expect to attract more than 100,000 trade visitors from around the world.
