This Beckhoff programming example shows how to configure and communicate the IFM AL1330 IO-Link module (IO-Link master with EtherCAT interface) with a Beckhoff PLC using TwinCAT software.
Communication between the PLC and the IFM AL1330 I/O motor module is done via EtherCAT communication.
Sensors with IO-LINK communication are connected to this module, the example shows how to read and write values to these sensors using the Beckoff TwinCAT software.
In this example, an O5D150 sensor, an optical distance sensor with IO-Link communication, is used to read the measured distance and to write sensor parameters.
