This Beckhoff programming example shows how to configure and communicate the IFM AL1330 IO-Link module (IO-Link master with EtherCAT interface) with a Beckhoff PLC using TwinCAT software.

Communication between the PLC and the IFM AL1330 I/O motor module is done via EtherCAT communication.

Sensors with IO-LINK communication are connected to this module, the example shows how to read and write values ​​to these sensors using the Beckoff TwinCAT software.

In this example, an O5D150 sensor, an optical distance sensor with IO-Link communication, is used to read the measured distance and to write sensor parameters.
