TWK at SPS 2024 – KIT and ring encoders

TWK will be participating at SPS 2024, the international trade fair for industrial automation. This year, TWK will present its latest KIT encoder and space-saving ring encoder. Both encoder product lines feature a compact design and SIL2 certification, making them ideal for a wide range of industrial applications.

A special highlight is the KIT encoder with its compact design and high precision with external magnet. With up to 65,536 steps per revolution and robust IP66/IP69K protection, the sensor is ideal for applications where space is extremely limited. The SIL2 certification ensures safe integration into safety-critical applications. Several safety bus interfaces are available, such as CANopen Safety. TWK also shows the ring giver. The encoder has a hollow shaft diameter of up to 150 mm and is based on the inductive measuring principle. It has a resolution of up to 22 bits per revolution. The encoder’s high shock and vibration resistance makes it ideal for harsh operating conditions. With a protection rating of up to IP69K and excellent accuracy, the ring encoder is also ideal for precise position and speed measurement in a variety of industries.

Thanks to its space-saving design, robustness and SIL2 safety certification, the KIT encoder and ring encoder are ideal for a wide range of industrial applications.
